Decided to pay for Fathom analytics. At least for a couple of months. It’s a bit expensive, but very easy to use.

Skrev några rader om att komma hem till Stockholm 🇸🇪
Hanging out down the lake this afternoon, the last out here before I get back to work in Stockholm tomorrow. I’ll leave by train tonight. It’s been a warm and sunny summer vacation but far too short. Every year I’m thinking my ordinary life needs a change. There needs to be more time for family, fun in the outdoors and hanging out with friends. If that’s going to happen I have to adjust to a lower income. But maybe that’s the right thing to do. I won’t make this happen without both a second and a third thought but this autumn to come I’ll seriously consider it.
Last day of vacation started!
I wouldn’t say I’m drunk. Just happy.
Besökte äventyrsbana. Såg person fastna i zipline-banan. 🇸🇪

Went for a bike ride with twins and wife. We took off after breakfast with no other goal than have lunch at a place called Julita gård (an old and beautiful mansion with a big garden).
The lunch was great! I had matjessill (soused/pickled herring) with cold sliced potatoes, boiled egg and melted butter. Wow, amazingly good. If you go go Sweden try it, but you can’t have too often, it’s very filling. This is how it looks if properly done.

The garden was better than I thought it would be. The place is a national museum but during the pandemic there’s no public events anymore. The garden is open but is not maintained as before. Hopefully it will reopen and all the gardeners get their job back. Still it’s a beautiful place.

The bike ride home made us sweat. Afterwards we took the car down to the lake and I had a swim that made my arms and shoulders get as tired as my legs. A good day.

Had dinner at my parents place today. It was nice.

Cherry picking? Oh yes.
Wrote a piece of me wanting a gravel bike(in Swedish). Hence I don’t have one I’ll have to go for a short run instead of a bike ride. 🚴 🏃🏼♂️
Our little cottage at 10 pm yesterday. These summer evenings are the best.
Our cottage tonight.
The strawberry fields were big and the berries red and sweet. We picked seven kilos before we left.
Will this image be seen?
🍓 On today’s schedule: picking strawberries. We’re going to a big farm where you pick and pay. A good activity on a day like this, with a bit of wind and sun but no blazing heat.
All working good now.
Just got back to our cottage after a late run 🏃🏼♂️. The fields are more beautiful than ever right now. In two weeks time the harvesting will be on, and thereafter the feeling of autumn is hard to avoid. My right knee is hurting after five kilometres, still I couldn’t resist overdoing it.

Opened my phone after the run and saw that @manton has fixed the erratic scrolling when writing long blog posts. I’m trying it now. It holds. I am writing this on the iOS app and the post being well over 280 letters without a single bump or jump. Great job.

When I tried publishing this through the app it wouldn’t work. This is published via Safari.

The above didn’t work either. Seems to be something wrong.

Waking up Tuesday and all is working good again.
Today I got the message saying it’s time to book the second dose. I did, of course. Life is coming back, syringe by syringe.
What do you think of double green? Could that be a thing this autumn?
We’ve been having different guests here for pretty much three weeks straight. I feel a bit tired even though it’s been fun. Yesterday we celebrated my wife Helene’s birthday and got some friends over for dinner. The teenage gang went home during the afternoon so we were only three adults and four kids at the table. A small gathering compared to the eleven people dinners we’ve been having the last week.

We had a good time. Per did some hardcore fire grilling that we all complemented him for (in a sarcastic way), in our household we’re all terrible at grilling but we do it all the time. Failing is a part of the fun. Per did good. And the food was more than edible.

Everyone was hungry after spending the afternoon down by the lake, playing around with the SUP board and jumping off cliffs. I did one jump, from the highest spot. It’s getting harder to come over my fear the older I get. Young friend David did several jumps from another good spot. We had fun.
David.
Me.
For my wife Helene I got a Remarkable 2 tablet and an apple tree as birthday gifts. She liked them both very much. Today we’re going to plant the tree. Otherwise chill mode. No guests! Well, that’s not true. My parents well get by and say hello to Helene (and maybe bring a cake).
I have a couple of invites to Literal.club. Say hey if you’re interested.
