The third book in the trilogy starting with Morgonstjärnan (The Morning Star) was fantastic. I don’t know if they’re translated into English yet but if you get a chance to read: do it. He’s quite a storyteller Karl-Ove Knausgård (Norwegian).
Saw this the other night, guess the holes been there forever. But I like the M-signs. They stand for “meeting place”, the road is wider there.
Now I’m getting up to make coffee. It’s Midsummer Night’s Eve and I’ll have to stay sharp all day. It’s a long one. A joyous one. I’ll have to make a pie to bring to the party and better start now.
Reading the last book in Knausgårds last trilogy. A black metal novel! You don’t see it at first but then it’s very much so.

Det var här man åkte moppen fram med ryggan full av äcklig hemgjord öl. Flaskorna lagrades under en rishög på behörigt avstånd hemifrån. Tillverkningen hade skett hemma hos Niklas vars pappa inte var så nogräknad. Där fanns också nog med Lord Calvert-flaskor att tappa upp på.
Nu tog min dosa snus slut. Dags att sluta igen. Återfallet över för den här gången.

Eftersom jag var på midsommarfest igår och höll mig helt nykter för att kunna köra bil hem på natten unnade jag mig en dosa till.

Det är blåsigare idag. Himlen är målad med vattenfärg och tjock pensel. Jag tar vägen som börjar bortom ladan, en tidig morgonpromenad innan kaffet. Gästerna ska skjutsas till tåget och innan dess måste alla hinna packa och äta frukost. Jag förbereder mig genom att ligga steget före.
Igår när jag gick här såg jag jägare vandra ute på fälten med gevär. Jag tror de var ute efter vildsvin. Vi har sett gris nästan varje kväll sedan vi kom hit, det är första året någonsin vi ser vildsvin i de här trakterna. Det sägs att en varg har kommit till andra sidan och nu jagat ner dem hit.
Huset där aldrig någon där står tomt som vanligt. Ägaren har dikt upp runt midsommar tidigare men än så länge ses inga spår kanske kommer han i morgon. Tänk om det stiftades en lag som sa att ägaren till alla hus och bostäder måste vara på plats en majoritet av årets dagar. Det skulle slå hårt mot Sommarstugesverige och många familjer och släkter. Jag tror inte det vore en bra lag. Det är inte ens säkert att det skulle förändra landsbygden så mycket, de som äger idag kanske helt enkelt bara hade sålt och frågan är om någon annan hade köpt alla hus som idag står tomma.

There’s a lot of health recommendations going on concerning hydration, drinking water. I am sceptical about drinking water all the time. I believe in the old fashioned, drink water when you’re thirsty. But the older you get, this tend to be an inadequate measurement. One thing is true. There’s a huge number of companies who want you to drink (buy) water and other so called healthy drinks. You get liquid also from eating. In Sweden physicians have been talking about the downsides of drinking unnecessary amounts of water: rising incontinence problems, especially for women.
This was a short article summoning things up pretty good. There’s no one size fits all solution.
