Saw this lizard on my morning walk. Yes, it’s a lizard not a snake even though it hasn’t got legs. In Swedish it’s called kopparorm or kopparödla, in Latin it’s Angius fragilis and in English it’s slow worm. Just learnt that one thing that makes it a lizard is their eyelids. They have good sight and can blink their eyes.

Klockan är lite efter sex och eftermiddagen på stranden börjar övergå i kväll. Övriga har åkt till affären eller går tillbaka till huset och jag ska snart kolla efter. Min uppgift är att bära sup:en. Den får inte plats i bilen. Dagarna flyter fram på likartat semestervis och det är fint. Sova tills man vaknar, äta sen frukost, pyssla lite i huset och sedan packa lunch för stranden. Där simmar jag en stund, läser lite (just nu Märket av Frida Isberg) och solar. Småpratar med barnen och min fru kanske går en sväng till klipporna för att göra några hopp ner i vattnet. Att kroppen känns äldre är svårt att gilla men jag inbillar mig fortfarande att den kommer att må bättre om ytterligare någon vecka här. En grej med semester är ju att tillåta sig att ta det lugnt. Göra saker långsamt

Absolutely devastating news from the amusement park Gröna Lund in Stockholm. One of the rollercoasters, Jetline, broke during a ride. At least two people were thrown out of there carrier and crashed on the ground ten metres below. One person is dead, 35 years old woman. So many parents and kids are horrified by this, thinking “what if we were there”. My thoughts go to those who lost a family member. I hope those nine people being hospitalised are recovering.

Time for morning coffee made in the slightly broken brewer. It’s something with the temperature, it’s a bit too hot. But that adds a tone of burned flavour I like.

The last part of the amazingly good trilogy starting with The Morning Star (Morgonstjärnan). A new star rises in the sky and new evil is taken part in the world, slowly it occurs in eerie ways. 5/5.
