It is raining here in Julita today. Lucky enough we have a barn where you can play table tennis and do carpenting.

Jag ligger lite lågt med den här bloggen ett tag eftersom jag återupptäckt Micro.blog och inser att det finns ganska mycket att hämta i det community som följer med den tjänsten. Jag är fortsatt ett fan av Write.as på grund av enkelheten och snabbheten men jag kan bara inte hålla på med för många olika konton samtidigt. Det stressar mig, dessutom helt i onödan eftersom ingen förutom jag själv bryr mig om detta överhuvudtaget. Jag lär komma tillbaka men om du brukar kolla in ndrs.work så ska du inte blir förvånad om det dröjer lite tills nästa gång. Fortsatt bloggande på svenska kommer jag att göra på Posthaven som ryckt upp sig och presenterat ett nytt snyggt tema. Engelskt bloggande kommer att ske på Frequently Doing
Video Good morning everyone, hope you’re feeling good. I’ve had a great start for this day. I went to an old gravel pit and ran it uphill. It doesn’t look as such a big deal but I can assure you I felt it in my legs.
I now have a plan for my Micro.blog. It will be my blog in english. In that way I stay open for interesting conversations with people from alla around and that’s actually something that happens quite often I’ve reckoned. Such interaction is what makes internet the fantastic web it is. My swedish blogging will be held at andreasjennische over at Posthaven. I’m glad I got back to Micro.blog.

I realize getting back to Micro.blog that I am constantly looking at Mentions. No good. It’s a behaviour I want to get away from. And a reason I deleted the Facebook app.
This is one reason to like Micro.blog, the aim for a sane and constructive community. If a curator for posts in swedish is needed sometime in the future, I’ll be interested. Just saying.

Being a dad is the best and the worst. You’re given unconditional love, but you’re also given the feeling of shortage, of not being good enough. I have a 16 year old stepson and 10 year old twins in my life. All three are unique individuals (no surprise, aren’t we all) but as a parent you have to remind yourself of that now and then. It would be easier for me and my wife if they were all pretty much the same when it comes to interests and needs, but also boring.
Myself, my wife and our twins left Stockholm earlier today to go to our small summer house in the countryside. My youngest son, one of the twins, didn’t want to go this time. He wanted to stay home with his videogames. His older brother, the 16 year old, didn’t want to go either. We (me and my wife) let the oldest stay home for another day. He’ll catch a train tomorrow. The youngest had to go with us. He is now very disappointed. He thinks we’re doing him great unjustice. Well, his not old enough to stay home on his own. That’s nothing but classic parenting. It does leave me with a bad feeling though.

Började dagen med en jogg. Stannade vid utegymmet på andra sidan Årstaviken, vid brofästet ungefär. Det var en perfekt löparmorgon och jag fick bra energi med mig in i arbetsdagen. Den gick snabbt och jag fick en hel del gjort. Det väntar en långhelg runt hörnet och vi drar till torpet redan imorgon eftermiddag vad det verkar. Ser mycket framemot det. #vardag #södermalm

I love blogging and have been doing it on for some years now. I’ve never had many readers, my blogging being some kind of diary writing and not many people are in to blogs anymore. But I like it for several reasons. I like to own my content and to know it will be shown as I like it be shown. Most of all it’s fun.
I also have been a hard user of social media such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. (At the moment I’m actually having a pause from all of the three mentioned because I want to see how my Iphone addiction will be affected. I’ll probably be using it as much as before but hopefully in a more creative way than dead eyed scrolling. I’ll get back to that in another blog post). Well, my point being here is that I have a problem stickning to one account. I have a old blog hosted my Blogger (that was from before, when I didn’t care as much about owning my content), another one over at Posthaven, a third at Write.as and this one at Micro.blog. Do I need this many blogs? No I don’t. I would be much easier to stick to just one. But I can’t stop myself from trying new cool blog services I happen to stumble upon. Last summer I read something about Micro.blog and really fell for the ambition and the friendly community that comes with it. After I while I stopped using Micro.blog though because I don’t like the actually writing tool. I know I could write wherever and paste it in the editor later but I tend to write and post immediately. But now it’s possible to write a piece on the great Ia Writer and post it to Micro.blog! You pulled me back in @manton.
That leaves me stuck with the problem of having to many blogs. Posthaven (made by people from Posterous that Twitter bought and killed) I like because of the simplicity and their promise of being there forever. It’s on Posthaven you find my home adress on internet as I call it and my custom domain bares my name. I write there now and then, always in swedish, and often about my work as a journalist or personal reflections. Write.as is a very simple blog service but impossible not to love. It has the best editor and all is very easy to handle on a phone. My domain on Write.as is called ndrs.work, even though I use it for a diary. And then we’re here on frequentlydoing.org hosted by Micro.blog. How am I going to handle all my blogs? Will I have to stop using one or two of them? Does the stacking require a more divided type of content, one single purpose for every blog? How are you all doing? Are you sticking to one?
I think I might keep on doing the Micro.blog for a while now, after all. But all my writing here is going to be in english. The community connected to Micro.blog isn’t much to have if you’re doing it all in swedish or some other language. Maybe this will be a purpose good as any.
Det tog några veckor längre än planerat men nu så är den på plats, nya Byggindustrin.se. Den bygger på samma tekniska stomme Resumé, Dagens Media, Fastighetsnytt och som alla övriga B2B-sajter inom Bonnier News ska ha inom kort. Från redaktionens sida har vi lagt stor kraft på att få själva innehållsstrukturen rätt, när det gäller menyval och sektionssidor. Det tekniska teamet som lett arbetet har varit mycket proffsiga och trevliga att jobba tillsammans med. Jag har lärt mig mycket om både SEO och användarvänlighet. Nu hoppas jag på att Byggindustrin ska få samma skjuts trafikmässigt som Fastighetsnytt fick av att byta sajt.

Hemma igen efter en helg på landet med trädgårdsfix, studsmattemontering och fika med mamma och pappa. Vaknar trött av klockan men snörar på mig löparskorna efter att ha fått upp alla barn. Som alla andra gånger räcker det med några få lufsande steg för att konstatera att det är värt att pressa sig att komma ut på morgonrunda. Det behöver inte gå fort eller vara långt, bara man kommer ut en sväng och får upp pulsen.
På jobbet väntar en kort men intensiv arbetsvecka med lanseringen av nya Byggindustrin.se som den viktigaste händelsen.
