I really like Micro.blog, the community is friendly and I find the idea of connecting a micro blog service to a “real” blog service to be clever. But there’s one thing I don’t like: emojis instead of hashtags. I never use them, and it makes it hard to search for certain topics. Being able to search and sort other people’s posts by certain topics is one of the best things with social media, I think. I get the idea behind the emojis, it makes it harder to commit hate speech and spam and such – but to me the emojis isn’t satisfying.

Green curry with rice. Instead of chicken: quorn. A vegetarian supplement. It’s something I make now and then. The kids like it too.

Music people. What would you call this genre?
I’m so impatient I had to switch avatar again. New picture. It’s actually a digital photo of a photography on paper, made in a classic photo booth. My workplace had one of those at our office for a week to celebrate a new logo.
For dinner tonight: a pie with onions, paprika, olives and goat cheese. For dessert: apple pie served with custard sauce.
I’m not sure if I have the energy to dive into Mastodon. All these different instances and such, I don’t know. I guess that’s why it won’t be another Twitter.

A fascinating story stretching over three books. Magic realism someone called it. It’s our real world spiced up with fantasy. It’s religious sects, spirituality, 80’s Japan, assassins and love beyond boundaries. Also a bit of a crime novel. Does this make any sense? It does when reading.

I don’t understand how the Mastodon compatible username works on Micro.blog. I have a Mastodon account since before and things I post here are cross posted to that Mastodon account: @ndreas@mastodon.social. But if I try to add a Mastodon user name here on Micro.blog it would be @ndreas@ndreas.eu.
