Upcoming weekend (Epiphany) is called trettonhelgen in Swedish, which means something like thirteen-days-after-christmas-weekend. We’re going to my parents house for a family gathering.

As most drivers here in Stockholm the changing to winter tires isn’t anything I tend to act on until the snow is falling heavy and causing chaos in the streets. So, here I’m sitting waiting at a car mechanic’s 07.24 in the morning drinking their bad coffee. Like every other November. It’s a tradition you can say.

I am now using Gluon for micro.blog which gives the opportunity to hire replies. That makes the timeline different, I see a lot more truncated long posts and a lot more posts from people I usually don’t notice in the timeline. A good feature. Though would I like to see when a post led to a conversation.
