Häromdagen sa jag till Calle på andra sidan Åsen att det var längesedan jag såg huggorm. Idag såg vi flera. Den första (på bilden) låg och kurade bland klipporna vid Öljarens strand nere vid kyrkan. Den andra var en esping som Helene höll på att cykla över på Munkleden mot Julita gård. I vattnet såg vi också flera snokar, svarta med gula prickar bakom ögonen. De kan verkligen simma, dyka med hela kroppen under vattnet. Jag googlade och fick lära mig av Skansens hemsida att snokar äter fisk och grodor och sork och är en av få ormarter som klarar av paddors giftiga skinn. Huggormar och snokar hänger gärna på samma ställen. De kan till och med ligga och sola tätt omslingrade. Ormgrop!

Att diska utomhus när det är sommar och bra väder samtidigt som barnen stökar runt och det finns en bra pod är fan livskvalitet.

Huvudvärken jag vaknat med idag är från en annan tidsålder. Uråldrig och obamhärtig. Försöker nu krossa den men de moderna hjälpmedlen bryggkaffe och alvedon.

The time is a quarter to eight in the morning over here and today I am going to my parents and help them out with some house painting.

Here is me and my son out biking in the west of Sörmland.

I am not a gamer. In fact, games haven’t interested me at all since the tape days of the Commodore 64. But that just changed. The last couple of days I’ve been obsessed with the Pokémon Go app. Our three kids rediscovered it, almost by accident, and the updates made since the big Pokémon Go launch in 2016 has turned the kids as well as both me and my wife into fans of the game. It’s physical and social and forces you to interact with other people IRL. Me who love to run find extra motivation in the egg hatching and today me and my ten year old son (anti-bike, anti-run) went out for a long bike trip just to get to a couple if pokestops and gyms. Where staying in our small summer house in the swedish countryside right now and I thing the Pokémon Go is perfect out here. You really have to walk a good bit before you find something interesting in the app. Last night we went out for a walk, me, my wife Helene and our three kids. We have ten year old twins (son and daughter) and a son who is fifteen. They seldon share interests but this time they all had great fun together for good period of time. Fantastic. I doubt it will last for long. I am happy it’s here at all.

I have to admit something. I bought a dosa snus the other day. Have been off for nine years but got a craving for it again.

Det blir mer sällan skrivet här från och med nu. Jag har beslutat att inte fortsätta som betalande kund på grund av att jag inte kan motivera multipla bloggplattformar. Därmed går det inte att publicera bilder. Och då gör det allt lite tråkigare. Jag håller till på AJB framöver.
