This is my neighbourhood. This is the place I’ve been living since 2008. Me and my wife moved here one year before we had our twins. I didn’t like the look of these houses at all. Today I love them. I like the roughness, the concrete style of the 60’s. My kids are growing up here. It’s their home. They can walk or bike to school without our company, they can be outside in the backyard where there are no cars. The apartment itself could be a bit bigger, but we’ve decided to never move. Or at least not move as long as the kids are still living with us. We’re fortunate enough to also have access to the cottage. Without that the whole living situation would be different.
