I am reading Jan Carlzon. Have you read any good leadership literature?
Give me your good tips?

Kollade in NK:s julskyltning @ NK in Stockholm. Noterade att padelbanor tagit plats på taket till vänster.
I am currently reading Jan Carlzon’s book “Tear down the pyramids”, a classic when it comes to leadership literature. Now I’m think I might read a lot more in that genre in the upcoming year. Maybe there’s is some truths to find in all these leadership books after all. Do you have any tips? Please tell me.
My wife is such a good planner. I am grateful for that. Today my parents visited us (it’s been years due to the pandemic) in Stockholm and we had a really good time. We met at the central station downtown and walked through the old town.
We stayed at a place I’ve never been to before and had a fika (coffee and something sweet to eat with it, for example a piece of cake or pie or a cinnamon bun) and continued to our apartment. We had some wine, ate a home cooked meal and talked about all kinds of things. None of this would have happened if my wife hadn’t planned it all and invited my parents. Especially not now when I’m all stressed out and tired because of my work situation.
I wish I could show you a picture of us all together but I forgot to take any pictures.
How’s your day?
The first Sunday of advent, the day you lit the first of the four candles. Christmas is getting here fast. 😓
This is my new favourite place. I’ve been here the last couple of weekends, alone with a cup of coffee and maybe a book. A short stop on a regular detour.
After this I’ll visit the church around the corner. It’s something new, a longing for sitting down in a church for some time. I guess it has to do with a stressful situation in my work life.
Läser Jan Carlzon ”Riv pyramiderna”.

I woke up early this Saturday morning. The last time that happened was, well I don’t remember. I have been so tired for so long. I used to run three times a week, the last six months it’s happened a few times all together. So when I was laying there in bed, awake before everyone else in the family, I made a decision.
I’m back at the house writing this and the endorphins are kicking in. Now: coffee. Black. Strong.
Does it work to make a collapse thing here with markdown?
Had to sign back in to Write.as. They’ve got a discount going.

I have been moving around during the last year or so. Left W.A for Blot.im but didn’t like it enough to stay there. Did Micro.Blog during all that time (and still do) but this editor has got something special. I really need the white blank screen to get my fingers going on the j keyboard.
It’s getting late here in Sweden. It’s Friday night and I have been working hard all week. I’m tired. Watched a couple of episodes of The Morning Show with my wife to really enjoy the fact it’s weekend. … Everyday blogging is something I’ve tried before and the only times I’ve managed to do it is during vacations. During work weeks my head is somewhere else (at work). But maybe I’ll try it again. I think I’ll stick to English, I need the practice.
Well, it’s good to be back.
Is anyone using Tumblr around here? I haven’t been using it for years but just signed up to it again just because I wanted to have a new look at it. The crossposting to Micro.blog is seems flawless.
I did it, I went to the gym before work!
Time to sleep.
The camera on the Chromebook isn’t the best.
Or maybe it’s the motive that fails…
This morning I really tried to get up and away to the gym before work. Instead I almost overslept. Tomorrow I’ll succeed.
Got the chance to test a Chromebook for a couple of weeks. My office wants me to give it a hard time and then come back with an honest review. One thing I like is the speed. One thing I don’t like is the keyboard, it has a plastic feeling.
And one of the programs I am using now and then, Newspilot, hasn’t got a web app so I have to work around that, read let someone else do that stuff for me.
We got a thin layer of snow today. Will it stay? I doubt it.
Sunny Sundays are the best. At this time of the year, three years ago, I visited New York City for the first and only time of my life. I remember the weather being exactly like it is in Stockholm today. Dry, cold and sunny.
Started watching Gomorra on HBO. Can’t believe I haven’t seen it before. What a fantastic show. High class drama.
I have one of those periods when I don’t listen to music. I think I might feel better if I did but no music feels right.
Read it as soon it’s translated to English. But start with book number one: Nattavaara. The trilogy is about Sweden in the future, after a collapse of society as we know it.
