Katrineholm har fixat en väldigt fin promenadväg genom skogen ner mot Näsnaren. Det var krispigt och vackert där bland björkarna. Det var jag, dottern, syrran och pappa. Plus en liten knodd i en vagn utanför bild. En systerdotter. 🇸🇪
Christmas Day. The day after the big event here in Sweden. Yesterday was intense. We are nineteen people celebrating, mom and dad and us four kids with families. Six children under the age of seven. You should’ve seen the unwrapping. Chaotic, but fun. 🎄

In Sweden we’re having a thing for Eves. Christmas Eve, Midsummer’s Eve and Holy Saturday (in Swedish English that would be Easter’s Eve) is the main events. Christmas Eve is the day you meet with family and share gifts.

Once upon a time I took pictures of everything, everyday. Nowadays I hardly take any pictures at all. The situation has more to do with my life being less adventurous than anything else.
Det var fjärde advent som blåste förbi. Dagen försvann i ett nafs. Jag följde med barnen till Liljeholmstorget, de ville handla de sista julklapparna och där var fullt med folk. Jag förvånade mig själv genom att yrka på munskydd på tunnelbanan på väg dit. Vi åt pokebowl och brände av alla ärenden på en och en halv timme. Senare på dagen klädde vi granen och gjorde söndagstacos. Inne på Coop träffade jag Andreas som var tröttare än någonsin. Är vi inte alla det just nu? Det är knappt jag vågar se framemot de där dagarnas ledigt jag får efter nyår. Läste en intervju med tv-mästaren Kjell Hägglund i Filter och började slökolla på The shrink next door. Den tar sig under skinnet från början. Älskar Will Ferrell för övrigt.

Got home from work with a terrible headache. Laid down, closed my eyes and slept for three hours. Now better.
Årets tävling i snyggaste design av pepparkakshus vanns av barnen. Efter omröstning online vann de stort över oss vuxna.
Sitter i köket och lyssnar på Peter Jöback som sjunger julsånger. Vem är jag? Håller jobbet på att göra mig galen?

Började lördag very sleepy eyed med kaffe i sängen och DN på papper. Fyllde på med några mackor och nu redo för en sväng på stan. I eftermiddag blir det fix med pepparkakshus.

Moonlight was on TV tonight. What a nice movie. Great photo. Slow. Scant dialogue.
Älskar Sportnytt. Först handlar det om en slalomåkare som är väldigt duktig men som har svårt att få till två åk. Sedan handlar det om längdskidor där två åkare har ryggproblem varav en fick ryggskott under pågående tävling. Fantastiskt kul.
Due to a covid case at work I have to put up my workplace at home again. Tomorrow I’ll sit in one of the kids room or in my old little corner in the bedroom. It is what it is. The person (I don’t know who it is) is not feeling to bad and hopefully the situation will stay at that. The future of work is one of the big questions for politicians and other decision makers. The story with on and off remote work won’t pass I think. And even if the pandemic ends, work life are changing. Employees are requesting more freedom and want to decide more on their own where, when and how they are going to work.
