December 24, Christmas Eve, is when the big stuff happens in Sweden. That’s the day when Santa is coming, when you share gifts and eat a festive meal together with friends and family. It’s because the Nordic countries back in the days considered the start of a new day being when the sun sets. That meaning Christmas Day starts on the 24 of December.

The date on this post makes the whole thing even more confusing. I started to write it yesterday (on the 25th) but finished it just now in the 26th.
