Just woke up in the summerhouse. It’s Saturday morning. No plans for the whole day except being outside and hang around with wife and kids. I know I’ll go for a run in the gravel roads around here. I’ll have a lot of coffee made in the best old brewer ever.
Hello Microverse! I have a challenge for you. Your next three posts can’t be about tech or internet. I start…
Today I went with my daughter to a crossfit class. It was supposed to be her first time. But in the door she hesitated and then turned around and went home again. I don’t really know what happened but she couldn’t find the courage to step in there with people she didn’t know and say “hi, I’m new here. This will be fun”. Afterwards she was sad and disappointed about herself. I told her to forget about it and told her we’ll do another try next week – is she’s still interested. I hope she’ll go back. It will do her good to climb over that step and get in there. I don’t care about the class itself but I want her to grow.
Springtime night light.
A new day, the last at the torp for this time. Sadly we all have to get back to Stockholm for work and school again.
TMO is one of internets most frequent blogger. I really appreciate his hammering on the keyboard over at write.as/TMO. Now I think his main blog is on Ghost but he’s also doing this photo blog which I like.
Went on a run this morning. Wore contacts for the first time in a long time. It was a good run.
Today.
Fugazi, what an excellent band it was.
Jotack det brinner fint.
Took out the 12 year old on a walk.
Making a quick stop for burgers on our way to torpet 🏡. Four days off work feels like an eternity.
Took a short walk today, stumbled upon a small street library.
The sign is in Swedish. It says “The bridge library”.

A beer before dinner.
My mission to get more fun out of Micro.Blog continues. A key factor is to write in English. The number of possible interactions from posts in Swedish is easily counted (but it might happen thanks to @g @sod @jemostrom @odd and a few more, I’m glad you’re here). Another factor is to interact more, write comments and ask questions. I might write in Swedish now and then, short or longer posts that won’t interest anyone in the feed, but to me the best part of M.B is the community. Maybe, in the future, the number of people from all around the world are so many there will be a feed in every language…
I had green pea soup with some sourdough bread and butter for lunch. It was not homemade but really good. What are you eating today?
Remember micro.blog is better the more you comment on other peoples posts.
Having a snack. Green apple with unsweetened peanut butter and hot water.
Hello! I’m back from the gym. What are you all up to?
I am bored. Might head off to the gym.
Update
I did. Now doing the army press with Rites of Spring in my ears.
What happened to Hey? Is the hype over?
Daughter and wife yesterday.
Starting this new week of work with some Rites of Spring in my earphones. This morning’s soundtrack to my gym routine.
Hello! What happened to spring?
Sunny Sunday here in Stockholm. Today’s plan is to get in the car, drive for two hours and spend the day at the old little red house with white corners. We’re going to finish the remaking of the kids room. We’ve painted the walls and cut the bunk bed in two separate beds 🪚. We gave them some new paint as well. Next weekend it’s Easter and our plan is to stay over there for the first time this year.
